In august 2008, Anne Romme was awarded Time to Design – new talent award (see pictures here) and thereby 3 months residency at The National Workshops for Arts and Crafts, two weeks exhibition in our Flagship Store and DKK 50,000 for materials. We went to visit Anne to see how her work is progressing.
Anne is spending her time making a full-scale model of her winning project “Sculptural Screen”. During the last two months Anne has moved from different phases from idea to decision-making and is now in what she calls the production process.
Anne Romme explains, “I am enjoying having time to work with the wood in my hands – returning to craftsmanship and seeing my work come to live in full scale”
You can experience Anne’s geometrical patterns when she will exhibit her Sculptural Screen in our Flagships Store from 27 November to 11 December 2008.
