Candy to the eye

Although it has been around for a while, I just happened to walk by a really great store in Amsterdam for the first time last weekend. Papabubble is a candy shop that sells ‘artistic candy‘. The store was founded in Barcelona by two Australians, and soon stores in Amsterdam, Tokyo and New York followed.

In the store itself (or atelier as some call it) the candy creators cook, color and flavor the sugar and subsequently stretch, shape and cut it. It’s cool to see such craftmanship and love going into the candy, making it as creative and beautiful as possible. And trust me, not only does it look great but it sure tastes well too!

We love great design

Normann Copenhagen is a way of living - a mindset. We like to think of it as putting on a pair of glasses and seeing the world in a different way. We love to challenge the conventional design rules.

On this blog we write about our design, the designers, and interesting things we spot around our hometown - Copenhagen.

Enjoy
