It is time to announce the winner of the Time to Design award 2010. We are proud yet again to participate in the award by showing and following the new young design talent for the next months.
This year’s award ceremony will take place on Thursday 26th of August at 2pm to 4pm at the Danish Art Workshops and you are invited. At the premises at Strandgade 27B, Director of the Danish Art Workshops Frederik Hardvendel will welcome you to this year’s award ceremony followed by a panel discussion ”Design Your Career”.

The panel will have a discussion about how you make it in the design business. With a panel consisting of one from the producer side, one from the design side and one from the consulting industry, the discussion provides different angles on how to make it as a designer. An issue which may have multiple answers, depending on which side of the industry you are from.
After the winner has been announced, the winner presents the winning project – we can’t wait!

Time to design is a design award with a focus on young design talents and their special needs. It is about finding their foothold in the design industry and knowledge thereof. Time to Design is a platform for the growing talents, a platform that can lead to a professional career.
The price includes three months residency at the Danish Art Workshops, 50.000 DKK sponsored by TA, the Danish Association of Wood and Furniture Industries to cover material costs, individual career coaching by OeO, and two weeks exhibition at the Normann Copenhagen Flagship Store
