A Space-Saving Colorful Beater

We love our new Beater! A pure sculpture, functional and space-saving all together utensil that can be folded into a one thin piece.

Beater is inspired by a pack of straws and is gathered in the middle using a ring that functions as both an opening andclosing mechanism and a hanging fixture.

Beater can be folded together, saving space in the kitchen drawer or on the wall.

An everyday product with a creative and space-saving design, Beater comes in eight stunning colours; white, grey, light blue, nude, lavender, pink, mint and dark blue.

Ding3000 explains: “We are driven by the romantic notion that a designer invents products aimed at making the world a better place. Our whisk is simple and sculpturesque in form and function and we have made it as space-saving as possible without compromising on the design.”

About Ding3000:
Did you know that Ding3000 are three guys from Germany. Their first product for Normann Copenhagen, the Rainbow Trivet won the Good Design Award earlier this year.

I think this is a great idea for small kitchens, caravans, and the like. You may not think a whisk takes up that much room, but trying closing one in a tiny kitchen draw and you’ll see how much trouble they can be.

Clever and desireable, but is it wire? Plastic? Plastic-coated wire?

    Hi Julian

Beater is made of inject moulded nylon.

    Kind Regards

We love great design

Normann Copenhagen is a way of living - a mindset. We like to think of it as putting on a pair of glasses and seeing the world in a different way. We love to challenge the conventional design rules.

On this blog we write about our design, the designers, and interesting things we spot around our hometown - Copenhagen.

Enjoy
Normann Copenhagen
