Halloween is normally related to scary, orange pumpkins with cobwebs and spiders. However, we decided to make a more edgy and fashion minded Halloween theme in our Flagship Store this year.

To make your own colorful pumpkins, you will need this:

- White paint for the basecoat

- Different shades of pink, blue, yellow, green or whatever colors you like

- Paint brushes

- Pumpkins

“I started by painting all the pumpkins white, and then I let them dry. I made the fade effect by painting the lightest color on top of the pumpkin and blended it into a darker layer at the bottom”, explains Anne Lehmann, Graphic and Product Designer at Normann Copenhagen.

“I got inspired from all the dip and dye textiles and color fading trends we have seen in the fashion world lately.” says Anne.

“I used our Light House lanterns as lighting instead of having the candles inside the pumpkins. They last longer if you don’t cut them.” concludes Anne.
