Impressions from London Design Festival

The city-wide design celebration in London ended this Sunday, and our Brand Manager Britt Bonnesen was there to soak up the atmosphere. Here are a few of her impressions from the Design Festival.

The world famous Saatchi Gallery is one of the first places Britt visits when she is in London. One of the current exhibitions is Paper (open until the 3th of November 2013) where 44 artists reflect on the fact that we are increasingly becoming a paperless society. All installations are, not surprisingly, made of paper.

Dover Street Market is a four floor concept store with many lovely brands and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Dover Street Market, 17-18 Dover Street, London W1S 4LT.

A cozy harvest theme in the design store Conran Shop. Also a very inspiring London store. Conrad shop is also one of the places to go, if you want to get hold of Normann Copenhagen products in London. Conran Store, 81 Fulham road, London.

Blakes Hotel in South Kensington, London

Victoria Beckham is crazy about Blakes Hotel and Britt shares the enthusiasm. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area and close to the shopping street Fullham Road and the department store Harrods. The restaurant offers splendid dishes from all corners of the globe served very elegantly.

The Botanist Restaurant, No 7 Sloane Square, London.

Britt also highly recommends the restaurant The Botanist which has a cool interior design and exciting dishes.

We hope you got some great ideas what to see if you’re planning on going to London. We know we certainly did!
