Sometimes a product is designed for one purpose, but depending on the circumstances used for something completely different. Obama spotted in CPH… again!

Graffiti is everyday viewing in cities like Copenhagen. But all of a sudden we have spotted a new kind of political Graffiti. American President Barack Obama under a bridge highway just outside Copenhagen. Is he running for president of Denmark? Is he trying to sell something or has his marketing people just gone a bit too far…literally. Very strange. It is the style of the British artist Banksy, but then again the artwork is not integrated with the surroundings like he would do. Please enlighten us if you know the story.

Big Ball spotted in City

This morning we said goodbye to the giant ball – Kuglen. Team Nowak Cph came by our Flagship Store with a large truck, and no final destination for the Ball. Thanks to Facebook we have just learned that it is now “Art-crashing” at Kongens Nytorv, where there is a big and very official art exhibition going on. Way to go. Girls, you rock.

They won Time to design 2009

Time to design – an award worth winning was won by the young designduo Francesca Lanzavecchia from Italy and Hunn Wai from Singapore. We are 100% confident that the two super creative talents will come up with something new and unique. The final result will be on display at our Flagship store in Copenhagen in 3 months time.

Pooh Bear in Copenhagen

On Friday August 21 :Venue contemporary art gallery had the opening of artist Stephen Ives  exhibition: “The resistible rise of a bear of little brain”. We went by to get inspired and enjoy the world where Stephen portray the ageing of Pooh Bear. We got to meet Stephen and had a little chat about his work. We can’t wait to learn more about this exiting and conceptual artist.
