By the surroundings of Falkoner Alle in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, you find a new photo shop nearby the hotel Radisson-Falkonersalen.
The new shop has a simple and modern design combined with black and white colours with some red spottings. Customers at Modul foto shop are able to get inspiration from the very begining they look through the window by walking on the street. To open the door and enjoy the photography world comes along.
Inspirated by Britt Bonnesen, brand manager of Normann Copenhagen and the architech Rolf M. Sørensen from Hoff & Jørgensen.
Products as the Hang lamp and the Tablo table create a fantastic visual combination to the eyes, the customer might get inspiration for new pictures or just enjoy the sensation of being at an urban photo shop in the center of Copenhagen as being at an Apple store in the center of Manhattan.
Watching the Copenhagen Fashion Week 2012 our Flagship Store is hosting a pop-up-shop where Acne provides a new innovative shopping experience. On the entrance the Flagship Store the fashion travel begins.

The new Acne’s collection Spring-Summer 2012 is a fantastic combination of bright colors that perfectly match Normann Copenhagen designs. Inspired by a trip to North Africa and the Sahara, the creative directive Jonny Johansson has created a terrific collection that easily captivates your senses.

The pop-up-shop with the exclusive clothing line and accessories for both women and men are available during February.
Normann Copenhagen has been awarded the Denmark global innovation award (gia) for ‘most innovative store’ for our 1,700 m2 Flagship Store at Østerbro in Copenhagen. Gia is an international award presented to the most innovative and exciting store in the field of interior design and décor in Denmark.

The award is then presented on an international scale, with Denmark competing against the rest of the world at The International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago in March 2012. We won in the ‘small independent retailers’ category.
“We are delighted and proud to receive the Denmark gia, and we are excited about the international prize-giving event in 2012. We want Normann Copenhagen to be an ongoing source of inspiration for our visitors 24/7. As an example, we design a new window display every evening,” explains Peter Elmegaard, Retail Director and co-owner.
If visiting Copenhagen there are certain things on a tourists list that are must-see like the little Mermaid, the Royal Palace and now of course also the Normann Copenhagen Flagship Store….

We are proud to be featured in both the Guardians Insider Guide and the Monocle Denmark Survey .

We look forward welcoming design lovers all over the world.

Winner of Time to design 2011, designer Milia Seyppel from Germany, is right now working on her winner project at the Danish Art Workshops. We recently paid her a visit at the workshops to see how far her project has come along.
Milia won the award in August and since then she has worked intensively on her project “Industry versus Craftmanship” – the development of three unique lamp types inspired by the age of industrialization, industrial production methods and upcoming industrial materials.
The project will be exhibited in our Flagship Store from November 24th to December 8th 2011. Continue reading ‘Time to design – a project is evolving…’

At Normann Copenhagen we have quite a lot of pictures, videos and blogposts of our products and designers – but everything is online and unless you have brought your laptop into the shop, you will never see it. However there is a simple solution. Use your mobile phone as a way to get access to the content.
Today we have placed 22 QR-codes in the Normann Copenhagen Flagship Store. Each with a “link” that leads you to picture, blogpost or video… go ahead – try it.
