Design Hype

A Tech Company will reveal a new hardware product today!!! Nothing interesting about that. But replace “A Tech Company” with the brand name Apple, and now you got everybody’s attention. Designlovers will gather around the live-blogging sites that will keep us up to date - minute by minute during Steve Jobs presentation. It’s amazing that Apple has succeeded in turning a product presentation into something that can be compared to a sports event.

It might be old and tired but it’s still cool and still a Porsche.

It has to look right – to feel right!

We got a little worried when we found this Grundig computer at our gate leaving Frankfurt Airport. Let’s hope it is not this kind of hardware that handles the airplane-traffic at one of the most busy airports in Europe.
Peter H… safely back home

From A to B

What a great way to move people between two buildings (a Hospice in Viborg (Denmark) and a Hotel). The cabin is so big that you can actually lie down inside it. I think it is a very clever idea and it doesn’t look bad in the nature.

Camarasaurus back in town!

Now you can get your own PLEO in our flagship store. PLEO is one of the world’s first robots which is cabable of showing feelings. It takes on a LIFEFORM of it’s own and when you scratch, talk and feed PLEO, it will react like a “real dinosaur”. Do you need a new pet?

A camera worth carrying!

Photo week in Dumbo (Down under Manhattan Bridge Overpass) brings out a lot of people and their cameras - which you do not see very often. I totally fell in love with this camera.

Haircut in a mini SL190

haircut.jpg
Tantrum is the name of this amazing new children’s hairdressing salon on Kings Road, London. The “Moon” is the area for children aged 0-7 where children can take a seat in a “Chelsea Tractor”, Mercedes SL190 etc. while having their haircut. Besides that each car has its own flat screen TV and DVD and the area also has a locomotive train running in the ceiling. Downstairs is the “Vouge” area for children between 8-14 years old, which is a bit more stylish and also includes a little juice bar and tailor made dresses for Birthday parties etc.

The best design in Copenhagen Airport

img_1782.jpg
These rather new “smoking cabinets” are in my view the best design in Copenhagen Airport at the moment. Smokers can now enjoy their own smoke in their own lovely cabin.

They call it a CD…and it contains music!!!

cd.jpg
This is a picture of the latest Stéphane Pompougnac album, Hôtel Costes Vol. 10. However the next generation of customers, also known as Generation C or just Gen C will never understand why some people choose to buy music as a physical product. Key words for Gen C:
Creating, connected, Community, Control, Creativity, Collaboration. They are born in a digital world – always on.
We welcome the next generation :-)

…and yes, we do (still) sell the CD in our store at Trianglen!

Is Paris the only having a bling bling camera?

camera.jpg

The trend of upgrading your electronic personal equipment has spread and now we can surely say that even here in Denmark we have found a very advanced bling bling version of a digital camera.
It is owned by our very good friend Lily from the Chinese store called Trendyhome and the upgrade was done by her daugther also known as the Chinese Bling Bling champion.
