BOB is popping up in Milan

Here at Normann Copenhagen we love fun and games, for the Salone Internazionale Del Mobile in Milan this week we have made our own “after hour” party.

The last two nights we have made our Pop-Up-BOB event in the streets of Milan with music, drinks and our BOB game – each night a new place.

If in Milan look out for our truck with the stickers and pop by for some Pop-Up-BOB , free drinks and good times.

Turn off the power – turn on the fun

Forget all about which computer game is the coolest or whether  Wii, Xbox or Playstation is the most fun. Do the new thing – turn them all off – its time to get back to basic fun – together.

The gameplay is simple, the rules are negotiable (no official rules yet) and the design is typical Danish minimalism.

No plastic controller here – but a wooden stick that is smooth, smells great and feels awesome. BOB, welcome to the New Danish Modern family – where everything is handmade, designed by Danes and Made in Denmark.

If you are attending the design week in Milan drop by our stand A25 in Hall 8 around 5 p.m. where we will be playing for the prestigious BOB-Master title.

Meet BOB in Milan

This is BOB, our newest member in the New Danish Modern family. BOB is the Danish version of the Indian Carrom tabletop game. Ask almost any Dane +30 years about the game and with a smile on their face, they will tell you stories about how they were the local BOB champion – or as we say in Danish “BOB-Mester”.

Our BOB-game is designed by Danish designer Nicholai Wiig Hansen. We can´t show you the final product yet because it´s being lacquered right now.

Tomorrow it will be on the back of a truck heading for Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Italy. If you are going to Milan, do drop by our stand (Hall 8, stand A25) and let the BOB-games begin:)

Designed by the newest member of the New Danish Modern – class of 09, Nicholai Wiig Hansen. We will launch the product at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milano on the 22 of April.
